How Online Payments Work
- Connect your own Stripe account from Settings
- Every invoice email includes a payment link
- The client pays by card on Stripe's secure checkout, from the link or their client portal
- The invoice is marked paid automatically and the client is emailed a payment confirmation
- Payments go to your own Stripe account, less a 1% platform fee on the invoice amount and Stripe's own processing fees
- Clients can add a tip when they pay, and Intelligent Engineer takes no platform fee on tips
Stop Chasing Invoices
Clients can pay as soon as the invoice arrives, without bank details or a phone call. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout, never on our pages.
